Nicolas Kaleio Fong

Partner | Attorney at Law

Nicolas Kaleio Fong (known as "Kaleio") focuses his practice on helping individuals, families, and business owners make informed decisions about the future through personalized estate planning, trust planning, probate, asset protection, and business succession planning.

Kaleio genuinely enjoys helping people plan for the future. Whether a client is creating their first estate plan, protecting what they have worked hard to build, or ensuring their legacy lives on for future generations, his greatest satisfaction comes from knowing they leave with the confidence that their loved ones will be protected and their wishes will be honored.

Clients appreciate Kaleio's approachable style, practical advice, and ability to explain complex legal concepts in a way that is clear and easy to understand. He believes estate planning should never feel overwhelming and takes pride in helping clients understand not only their options, but the reasoning behind each recommendation. His goal is for every client to feel informed, empowered, and confident in the decisions they make.

Throughout his legal career, Kaleio has helped clients navigate many of life's most significant milestones. Before joining Stellar Law, he practiced in several areas of law, including real estate, business law, bankruptcy, and commercial lending. He worked closely with individuals and families purchasing homes, investing in real estate, transitioning into retirement communities, and making other important financial and personal decisions. Those experiences reinforced his belief that thoughtful planning provides families with greater confidence and helps them navigate life's transitions more smoothly.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Kaleio developed a deep appreciation for the importance of family, community, and caring for future generations. Those values continue to shape both his personal life and his approach to practicing law. He earned his law degree from the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, where he met his wife and now law partner, Aglaë ("Aggie") Van den Bergh. Together, they relocated to Florida to build their family and continue their shared commitment to helping clients protect the people and legacies that matter most. Kaleio is licensed to practice law in both Florida and Hawaii.

Outside of the office, Kaleio enjoys spending time with Aggie and their children, surfing, traveling, and exploring new technology and innovative ways to improve the client experience. He believes the best legal representation is built on trust, education, and lasting relationships, and he considers it a privilege to help clients prepare for the future with confidence.
